For those of you who don't know, I am living in LA, very close to the
city of Pasadena. I'll be finishing this next semester, my second year
in college, and then I'll transfer to a four year university around here.
My major is still Theatre Arts even though many people ask me: "What are
you going to use Theatre Arts for?" Well, here is an example:
For the
last 2 months, I've been working as a production assistant with a
friend of mine, who is a Drama teacher at a High-School here. It's
heaven for me! I get to be with kids, which is something I love, help
them out with their productions, acting skills, lines, and above all,
I'm always an open shoulder to those teenagers that want to cry about
life (Been there, done that!). It's fun. I'm learning a lot with them.
So, I'm studying and working, but some of you might be asking: What the
heck is Rebeca doing in Pasadena? Well, here is what happened:
In October of 1996, I met a guy, called Luther, and we starting going
out. To make short a long, long, long, long, long story, I am engaged to
get married next year...AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I crazy or
what?
Well, wait until you guys find your better halves, and you'll think
about whether I'm losing it or not...(Right, Linda?) His name is Luther
Doctorian and he is an Armenian-American...What a mixture... Our kids
are going to be you know what??? Very CONFUSED, I can tell you...Luther
is a producer for comercials, videos and even previews of movies, you
know? Oh, well, I just know I found what I was looking for...And now I'm
complete!
Anyway, all of you guys
are invited to be in my wedding, which is going to be in Brazil, on
March 20th of 98. It's a good time and excuse for an EF Reunion! And
after that, there will always be an open door for you guys in LA
(Pasadena), for free, whenever you want to come over! But wait until I
get back from the honeymoon! ;)
Well, this has been my life for the past year!
