| She just can't stay away! Isolde spent Christmas 1999 and New Year's 2000 in Santa Barbara with members of her former host family in Carpinteria. One bright, sunny day in January we got together for lunch at Longboard's on Stearn's Wharf, where we munched on delicious salads and reminisced about the Class of 1997's adventures (past and present). 9/20/00: Here we are once again, standing by the same limo, getting ready for our lunch at the Rose Café on the Mesa. After a delicious Mexican lunch, we went to EF to meet the new LY grammar class during their orientation. 'Twas a lot of fun! I'm sure glad that Isolde "just can't stay away".
